Have you wondered if all animal sounds the same in every language?

Holaaaa~~Happy New Year!!!
It’s been a long time since my last post. Sorryyyy lol. But don’t worry I’m working hard making videos constantly!

Check out my new video:

Malaysia v.s Germany v.s Mexico – Animal Sounds Challenge in Chinese, German, Spanish

Thanks for watching the video. How was it? Did you gain something new? I hope yes 🙂

At least one thing I want you to realize from this video is: Animal sounds differently in every language!!!

This is a very simple video idea but I found it so much fun! I didn’t know that rooster can sound so differently in Chinese and Spanish.

Like what? Kikiriki? No way! Rooster sounds “Wo wo wo”! lol

Okay let me talk a little bit about this video. 🙂

Who is Janic? Who is Victor?

Forgive me I couldn’t introduce my guests too detailed in the video because that will make the video very long and lose the focus.

But I would love to introduce my guests here through writing. (Shen you are genius haha Good usage of different forms of  media. :p)

As you may have noticed, yes Janic and Victor are my “Charai” friends. xD (Frivolous friends haha) I became friend with them during my 1 year exchange in Ritsumeikan University in Kyoto.

Thanks to them I had a very wonderful year in Kyoto, more specifically, we had been drinking for every weekend and made a lot of new international friends in Kyoto. XD

Malaysia vs Germany vs Mexico - Animal Sounds Challenge in Chinese, German, Spanish

This is how we met each other. :p Foreigners living in Kyoto love drinking by the Kamogawa river side.

Janic is going back to Germany for 1 year adventures, while Victor is writing his master thesis and going to graduate soon.

They are very energetic, positive, friendly and fun, so I decided to make our memories into a video form so that my viewers can get some positive energy from them, and also so that we could show our children in future how we were like when papa was young haha.

Janic, I hope this video can give you some confidence as to building your own music brand. 😀 You are gifted to be a creator.

And Victor, you are so good at making jokes in the conversation! This video is full of your Spanish jokes haha

Why This Topic?

Some viewers asked me what inspired me to make this topic.

It all started from a sneezing. I always feel wrong when Japanese sneeze they say “Akushon”. I was like “No way! Sneezing should be Hachu!” lol

And one time my Japanese friend argued with me, saying that “Akushon” should be the best sound for sneezing in the world. (come on…)

Then I came up with this idea – I want people to know that sneezing can be different in different languages! haha Dude, “Akushon” is not the only sound! Take this! :p

Of course I wanna make more topics with Japanese friends but so far I still haven’t met any Japanese friend whom I feel comfortable making video with. (Actually I found 1 now, preparing for next video :p)

There, I thought of Janic and Victor! haha They are just the perfect choice for this. And they accepted my request immediately!!! Thanks guys <3

Video Message – Be Interested In Different Languages!

Malaysia vs Germany vs Mexico - Animal Sounds Challenge in Chinese, German, Spanish

I believe language decides one’s mind and behavior.

Just think about the animal sound. To me, frog sounds “gua gua”, but to Spanish speaker, it sounds “Rub it rub it”. And no matter how hard I try to explain “gua gua”, Victor just can’t accept the fact that frog sounds “gua gua”.

Our mind & perspective are largely influenced by the language education we received.

There I believe, that if we could break the barrier of language, meanly, to understand other language’s differences, we will be more open-minded and accept things as they are. 🙂

(Man you said good stuff! haha)

Germany mouse no sound LMFAO
